This is my fight everyday. I don’t write for sympathy. I write to let meanders know why I fight so hard to raise monies for Research. We need a cure for Sarcoidosis. After all these years and the many, many, many lives lost because of the lack of information provided to the medical field to diagnose us properly and not use egos to override understanding. Sarcoidosis patients try to educate not only themselves, but to also educate those who they deal with on a day to day bases. We call ourselves “❄” because no two patients are alike in their own fight. Why I say this is, we are not textbook patients. I personally have had physicians quit on me because they could not help me. I have been battling this disease for 21 years, getting weaker and weaker everyday. But I will not give up. I’m not going down without a fight.
